Just Jedi's Second Key Stone: The Tree's Branches

Next are the Branches, reaching high up to the sky and spreading outwards - stretching towards new sun rays.

The J.J. Tree's Branches are the symbology of a Jedi's Journey. Inspired by Joseph Campbell's mono-myth we recognize that our greatest of Key Stone's is the ability to experience it in action. It is one thing to say a Jedi is honorable, but a other to experience honor and to express it to other's. That is where a Jedi truely understands what it means and where it holds purpose.

As such our Branches has three supporting limbs and their off shoot's

Initiation
  • Doubt
  • Encounter
  • Struggles

Apprenticeship
  • Trials
  • Adaption
  • Reward


And finally, as a Jedi's Journey goes full circle. We return to the Trunk of the Tree as Knights

  • Acceptance



Journal Entry
  • Take each Supporting limb and their off shoots of the Branches and write a brief description of what each point means to you and your Journey as a Jedi.

The Great Jedi Holocron

The Keeper 2018 The Great Jedi Holocron The most popular and widely used extended document was The Great Jedi Holocron in 2006 by Adam Yaw with over 1,861 pages. To this day, those who put forth a self motivated progress are still known to find this great text hidden in group libraries and read through this large text. Much of it's inspiration was drawn from Jedi Groups such as Ashla Knights and Force Academy along with several members who wrote and submitted segments and lessons for display, making it perhaps one of - if not the - first largest compilation of the community as a whole. Journal Entry Glance through (or read) the Great Jedi Holocron and find a section you enjoyed most. Share it in your journal and write your thoughts on it.

The 33 Jedi Teachings

The Keeper 2018 33 Jedi Teachings A couple years after jediism.org. A new group branched out with there own perspective. Wanting to stick close to the teachings found in the Fictional Star Wars universe. The founders reviewed and studied the scripts, movies and books to carefully extract key lessons applicable to the real world while maintaining it's fictional foundation. These Teachings started out small, with only 16 teachings. Which then grew to 18 teachings and finally to 33 overall teaching points of Jedi. This group was known as Jedi Sanctuary in 2003 and in 2006 these teachings were published for public view and use. Even becoming published at the www.about.com informational website. Today Jedi Sanctuary is only active on the facebook social media platform. Journal Entry Find ten or so teachings that calls to you and write your thoughts about them. Try and find one's that have not yet been touched up on in the previous Key Stone's lessons! Bonus! W
