The Luke Skywalker Code
Alongside The Jedi Code, there was another...an alternate version. But most know it as the 'Luke Skywalker Code' this is because, during the re-establishing of the Jedi Order he modified it slightly as it is told. But overall...that is all we know when it comes to the fiction beyond a couple references. [Pending possible addition to this section]
Much like the Jedi Behaviors it wasn't very popular either in fiction or in the Jediism/realism community. But it did have its various moments in the spotlight as a handful of community members found a greater alignment with the Luke Skywaler Code over The Jedi Code in general. The Luke Skywalker Code offered less requirement of sacrifice such as "No Emotion" and "No Passion" and instead celebrated the spirit of service to others, protection of those who could not protect themselves and training the self in knowledge and wisdom. Key beloved traits of Jedi that almost anyone could get behind and approve of.
The Luke Skywalker code can be found in the ‘Star Wars RPG Core Rule Book’ right in partnership of The Jedi Code. In the Rulebook it states that:
While not so popular in the Jedi Community, it is still brought up from time to time and discussed as a part of a whole, something to keep to heart but not important enough to earn any lasting place in a groups doctrines or main practice. Of course, this depends largely on who you talk to and where.
The Luke Skywalker Code
Jedi are the guardians of peace in the galaxy.
Jedi use their powers to defend and protect, never to attack others.
Jedi respect all life, in any form.
Jedi serve others, rather than rule over them, for the good of the galaxy.
Jedi seek to improve themselves through knowledge and training
